And the only way to get Cassie to stay is to tell the truth…

My Review

5 stars

Jill Kemerer crafted two wonderful characters with similar hang ups in this heart-tugging page-turner. Both Austin and Cassie deal with mistaken impressions. Austin believes he is a failure because he freezes under pressure, while Cassie places too much of her self-worth in the hands of the men in her life. This combination creates communication problems between the two.

Kemerer used the characters’ flaws to highlight how our lack of self-awareness can affect our relationships.

The reason Austin suddenly became the father of a baby had been hinted at a few times throughout the series. The secret is revealed in this last book, and I LOVED it. It revealed so much about his heart.

Kemerer masterfully wove a story where each character’s weaknesses triggered something in the other—finally forcing them to face the truth about themselves. The author seamlessly incorporated faith into the growth of the characters.

I would strongly recommend this book to fans of Christian romance, clean romance, and, of course, cowboy romance. I also recommend the entire Wyoming Ranchers series.

Genre: Christian Romance, Inspirational Romance, Cowboy Romance

Location: Sunrise Bend, Wyoming

Romance: Very clean. Light kissing.

Faith: Characters pray for guidance
