D.E. Malone delivers a heartwarming, clean & wholesome romance that left me smiling.
I loved the way the author thrust the meek, grieving Hillary out of her comfort zone by sending her to a small farms conference far from her home in Idaho. When her sister-in-law had to back out, Hillary was forced to extrovert all on her own. When the dashing Dane picks her up from the airport, she struggles with attraction and the similarities he shares with her late husband.
Dane was also burned by love. Despite his clumsiness, he instantly connects with Hillary. He loves his small farm life and helping others who want to expand their small farm businesses.
Both Hillary and Dane are very relatable and likable characters who struggle mostly with being honest with themselves. I loved the way the romance unfolded in this sweet story. I also enjoyed the unique setting and situations the author wrote about along with some dynamic minor characters.
Fans of clean & wholesome romance and sweet romance will enjoy this story.
